Sports have a unique power to unite communities, shape character, and open doors to meaningful relationships, we use sports as a platform for holistic ministry, developing young people physically, socially, and spiritually.

Through our Sports Ministry, we partner with schools, and local leaders to create safe spaces where youth can grow, compete, and encounter positive role models grounded in faith.

Sports Camps With Partner Schools

We host sports camps in partnership with local schools, creating opportunities for students to develop athletic skills while learning values that extend beyond the playing field.

Our camps include:

  • Soccer

  • Basketball

  • Netball

Each camp emphasizes:

  • Teamwork and discipline

  • Respect, perseverance, and leadership

  • Mentorship from coaches and local leaders

  • Age-appropriate devotions and character lessons

These camps foster confidence and provide positive alternatives for youth during school breaks and community events.

Annual Community Sports Tournament

Each year, Mushayamunda Christian Development Trust hosts an annual sports tournament bringing together 30 local schools from the surrounding region.

This tournament:

  • Promotes unity and healthy competition among schools

  • Builds relationships between students, teachers, and communities

  • Creates a shared space for celebration, encouragement, and mentorship

  • Serves as a platform for outreach and community engagement

The tournament has become a highly anticipated event that strengthens connections across villages and schools.

Sports as a Ministry Platform

Sports open doors that traditional programs often cannot. Through this ministry, pastors, coaches, and volunteers walk alongside youth, earning trust through presence and example.

Through sports ministry, we:

  • Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance

  • Encourage values rooted in faith and integrity

  • Connect youth to local churches and community leaders
